Great kitchen remodel done by Dan. Dan was recommend by a friend who was having a big remodel job done and she was So happy with Dan as her GC even at the end of the project. Well that was all I needed to hear since projects can easily become nightmares. Not so with Dan from beginning to end everything went smoothly. He was able to accommodate us while we were away so it was such a wonderful surprise to come home to the work being done. Dan Craner just completed our bathroom remodeling. Before he started the job, we discussed all objectives of the remodeling. He documented the full project and is fairly priced for the high quality of work he performed. Dan completed the work on schedule. His work is impeccable. Working with Dan was a true pleasure. After being ripped off by another local “contractor“ we were very hesitant and reluctant to speak with other contractors until Dan came recommended through our network of friends. We are so happy we did connect with Dan. He was a true professional from start to finish. He gave us, detailed quotes with competitive pricing and a detailed timeline that he stuck to and kept great communication the whole time. Every day he was at our home he cleaned up at the end of the day as if he wasn’t there. We had three jobs done by Dan: a bar that was left unfinished by the previous contractor that ripped us off, a small bathroom remodel which included removing a shower insert and replacing it with a full tiled shower. We also fully remodeled our master bathroom which included full gut as well as replacing a built-in Jacuzzi tub with a standalone tub and removing a shower insert and replacing with a new one, full flooring, trim, vanities, painting, etc. Dan is a true professional and a credit to his industry. He’s reliable, consistent, shows up and works a full day, well scheduled and organized and is able to add insights and options. I cannot recommend him enough to my friends and anyone else reading this review. Do yourself a favor and just get in touch with him. You won’t regret it.

DC Home Remodeling is my go-to contractor for every repair or remodel that I need. Most recently, Dan and his team completely remodeled my master bathroom. The project included replacing drywall, subflooring, framing corrections, installing large format tile flooring, installing pebble shower flooring, installing ceiling tile in the shower, installing a ceiling mounted rainfall shower head, installing a new vanity (going from a single sink to a double sink), installing a new toilet, installing new closet shelving, installing new molding, and painting (phew!). Dan remodeled my master bathroom years ago and did an amazing job. He gave me my dream bathroom. It ended up having to be gutted completely. Dan was creative and helpful in designing the new bathroom. He went above and beyond what any other contractor would do. He was trustworthy and I felt comfortable allowing him in my home anytime along with anyone else he brought to assist (electrician, plumber, helper, etc). I live in a condo. Dan abided by all the association rules and disposed of all trash appropriately. He cleaned up after himself and left no debris behind. He was quiet and respectful of neighbors. I would recommend Dan for any remodeling needs and would use his services again should the need arise. He treated my home as if it were his own and I don’t think that’s easy to come by.

It was such a breeze having Dan as our contractor for our bathroom remodel. I describe something to him show him a few pictures and he gets it !! I barely have to explain much to him. Dan transformed our 1950s 4x 4 tiles into the Modern Farmhouse bathroom Ive been wanting . He is very knowledgeable in his trade, and if something stumps him he keeps on trying until He gets it done right. He encountered a few difficulties renovating our original 1950s bathroom specially during the demo phase it set him back in his schedule due to unexpected surprises that comes with an older home but Dan kept going and put in extra hours everyday until he can get caught up and finish the project on the day he told us per our contract! Dan’s pricing is honest and competitive . Dan also put down protection paper/cloths for our floors and cleaned up the best he can everynight . And not only that, Dan even went through the trouble of removing and putting our toilet back everyday so our family have a toilet to use at night time during the project -which was such a life saver!! Dan is the man! I’ve never meet a professional so great with communication, attention to detail, and a pleasure to work with. Dan took his time to explain every detail of the process. He even met up with us to go shopping to make sure we got all the right items. Dan would show up on time or even earlier everyday! The things that also impressed me were that we all wore masks when in close proximity, cloth and cardboard were put on the floors to protect them, they cleaned up every night, and even fixed a few plumbing issues.
